By using DialectForge VPN, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DialectForge VPN ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DialectForge VPN is a virtual private network service that encrypts and obfuscates your internet traffic using our proprietary protocol technology. The Service includes:

VPN applications for macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android
Access to VPN servers in multiple geographic locations
Encryption and obfuscation of network traffic

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
One account per person; account sharing is not permitted

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service for:

Prohibited Activities:

Any illegal activities under applicable law
Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code
Hacking, unauthorized access, or network attacks
Spamming or distributing unsolicited communications
Distribution of child sexual abuse material (absolutely prohibited)
Harassment, threats, or abuse of others
Copyright infringement or intellectual property theft
Any activity that could damage the Service or other users

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Device Limits

Standard accounts may register up to 5 devices
Each device receives a unique identifier
You may revoke device access at any time through the app settings
Simultaneous connections may be limited based on your subscription plan

6. Subscription & Payments

The Service is offered on a subscription basis
Payments are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
Refunds are handled according to the respective app store policies
Prices may change with 30 days notice

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
We may perform maintenance with or without notice
Server locations may change based on operational needs
Connection speeds depend on many factors outside our control

8. Intellectual Property

DialectForge technology, including the protocol, applications, and branding, is protected by patents (pending) and copyright. You may not:

Reverse engineer the protocol or applications
Copy, modify, or distribute our software
Use our trademarks without permission
Attempt to bypass licensing or subscription requirements

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that:

The Service will meet your specific requirements
The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
The Service will provide complete anonymity or security
The Service will bypass all forms of censorship or restrictions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DialectForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the app or by contacting support
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately
Data deletion occurs within 7 days of account termination

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
